About Maison Kitsuné
Founded in Paris in 2002 by Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki, Kitsuné has pioneered a unique and creative art of living with a fashion brand (Maison Kitsuné), a music label (Kitsuné Musique), a café, a bakery, a bar and a restaurant (Café Kitsuné). Since its inception, with a loyal fan base, Maison Kitsuné has been spreading the brand's multifaceted influence and French-Japanese art of living style around the world.
Kitsuné, the Japanese word for fox, is a symbol of versatility. Legend has it that the fox possesses the power to change its appearance, just as Kitsuné knows how to adapt its repertoire according to inspiration. Since the brand's inception, the fox, mythical creature, has been Kitsuné’s signature logo, fluidly working its way in, here and there – and of course, shifting faces along the way.
Drawing inspiration from the different cultural clashes between Paris and Tokyo, French Parisian independent lifestyle brand Maison Kitsuné subtly presents fashion that combines comfort, sharp tailoring, street trends and playful style. Maison Kitsuné is currently present in China with its flagship shop in Xintiandi, a boutique in Taikoo Li Sanlitun, Chengdu IFS and Reo, Shanghai.
Maison Kitsuné's classic collection offers a chic and laid-back everyday wardrobe of classic colourways and the brand's signature logos such as the 'tricolour fox', 'fox head', 'handwritten letter logo", "Paris Palace monogram logo" and more.
The brand's seasonal offerings are complemented by more design interpretations of fashion in a colourful colour palette that fits the seasonal theme.
Since its creation, Maison Kitsuné has also frequently established collaborations with various crossover brands such as LineFriends, Puma and Montblanc to create a young and edgy brand image.
